These images are one i created and exported using save for web. It worked fine in cs5 so it must be a bug.
When viewing my trimmed png files through photoshop the png files have a black background.
Png black background fix photoshop. All of a sudden my png images with transparent backgrounds are only showing up with black backgrounds in captivate. I don t see the problem via file explorer only when viewing through ps. I thought it was the photoshop at first but when i tried to pull old png images in that showed up fine before the black background showed up.
Does anyone know of a fix or work. I am experiencing the same problem as well. I have a windows os and sometimes when i go to open a transparent png file through photoshop the transparent png file has a black background but opens correctly in photoshop.

Some of my purchased png files when view through photoshop also have a black background. The background is black rather than transparent. I have to open the file in photoshop and re trim save to get rid of the background when viewing through photoshop.
I have that happen on occasion to me as well julie. For example when pasting a transparent png you may see a black background.
